“Well today’s the day and the winner city is Springfield, Ohio,” a Facebook post on May 17 said.
According to the post, Bourbon Street Grill and Cafe will be located at 2012 South Limestone St.
“We are working on the building right now and will be open very soon,” the post said.
The Bourbon Street Grill and Cafe, located at 1043 Brown St. in Dayton, has operated mobile eateries at area festivals.

The menu includes the restaurant’s signature bourbon chicken, blackened chicken, salmon or sea bass, wraps, burritos, burgers, gyros, salads, and sides that include green beans, Cajun potatoes, steamed vegetables and pinto beans and rice.
“So congratulations Springfield. I hope you will like us there,” the post said. “Thank you for your support everyone.”
