Clark-Shawnee Local School District
Clark-Shawnee will have individual graduations for seniors from June 11-13 at Southgate Baptist Church, 2111 S. Center Blvd., due to the construction taking place at the school.
“Senior students will register for an appointment time to receive their diploma and awards. Seniors should come dressed in their cap and gown,” said Superintendent Brian Kuhn.
A link will be sent out to seniors to sign up for their appointment time.

Seniors can bring up to 10 guests, and all individuals must wear a face covering. Graduates will be allowed to remove their face covering when receiving their diploma.
A professional video will be recorded of the seniors graduating, and will include speeches, commencement address and other features.
“The Shawnee High School Commencement Exercises have always been a first-class event for our graduates and their families—this high standard will continue,” Kuhn said. “This video will highlight our students and serve as a memento of this event that can be shared with friends and family.”
Additional information will be provided in the coming weeks.
“I know that we all wish we had been able to have a more traditional end to the school year, but we are proud of our students for the grace and maturity they have shown in these unconventional times,” Kuhn said.

Greenon Local School District
Greenon graduation date scheduled for May 22 at Wittenberg University has been canceled, according to a school official.
“Wittenberg notified us this week that the May 22 graduate date was cancelled,” said Superintendent Brad Silvus.
The backup date on July 10 is still reserved for a summer graduation ceremony at Wittenberg.
“We’re committed to celebrating the class of 2020 and their achievements and are planning options to honor these students,” Silvus said.
