The Community Health Foundation has postponed its annual CHF Celebrates reception, until later this year due to the potential for exposure to COVID-19, or coronavirus.

“Community Health Foundation is focused on the health and wellness of our community and the decision to postpone was made due to our concern for the health of the attendees as well as the health of our community in general,” said Diane Van Auker of CHF.

The event, originally set for April 1, has been rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts & Conference Center, 275 South Limestone St., Springfield.

“It will be the same great event with the same great food, friends and fun, just with a new date,” Van Auker said. “CHF Celebrates is a fun and inspiring evening which our community looks forward to and we are glad we will present this event in the fall to continue the celebration.”

The event will still include nationally recognized humorist and motivational speaker Ron Culberson who will present “Do it Well. Make it Fun: The key to success in life, death and almost everything in between.”
