Clark State Community College Workforce and Business Solutions will offer several online courses for professional development and employee training, according to a release from the school.

“In these unprecedented times, the Clark State Workforce and Business Solutions team is still here to assist,” said Lesli Beavers, director of Clark State’s Workforce and Business Solutions. “We are happy to present online and virtual classroom-based courses and hope that businesses will consider professional development and training a valuable option for them and their teams, as our daily work schedules look increasingly different.”

Clark State offers an online catalog of over 700 trainings, including customer service, soft skills suite, Microsoft applications, project management and presentation skills suite.

The college moved to modified operations, using online or alternate formats for classes through the end of spring semester to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

“As we all move forward, Clark State Workforce and Business Solutions team is here as a resource and partner, not only for training, but to help connect the workforce to whatever resources needed to continue to thrive,” Beavers said.

Registration is open for several spring courses, including leadership development, professional sales readiness certification, and fundamentals of supervision and management.

“Also, we have scholarship funding available for our local manufacturers to send one employee, per manufacturer, to the online Fundamentals of Supervision and Management, completely free of charge to the manufacturer,” Beavers said.
