“I believe our athletic department is moving in the right direction, and it is fun to watch the growth of our programs,” said Justin McCulla, director of athletics and student life. “I am thrilled to announce the renovations in the gym that serves as the home for Eagles volleyball and basketball.”

The scoreboards will be replaced in April and a new gymnasium floor design will begin May 18. The colors and logos, as well as the scoreboard technology will also be updated.

The flooring and scoreboards in the complex are original to when it was built in 1974, the release said.

Clark State has been more competitive across the board, and the administration is investing into the athletic department, McCulla said.

McCulla said he’s excited about the investment and hopes to attract more student athletes.
