The Clark County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Springfield residents after recovering over $36,000 in drugs following a “controlled delivery” of a package of narcotics, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.
“The week prior to this operation, a package containing 20 individual bottles of 30 counts Alprazolam 2mg (Xanax), bound for 1642 Falmouth Ave. in the City of Springfield was intercepted and seized by U.S. Postal Inspectors,” the statement said. “It was discovered that several similar packages from the same return address had been delivered to this Springfield address over the past several months.”
Upon delivery of the package, the statement said, a male suspect later identified as Darrell Spell, 26, accepted the package and took it into the residence at Falmouth Avenue.
A search warrant was then executed on the house. During the search warrant, investigators located Spell, Stacy Mansfield and three children.

Officers responded around 12 p.m. on Friday to Subway at 2111 Park Road in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred, according to a Springfield police report.
