Marc Terrell, 37, was indicted on charges of aggravated vehicular homicide, two counts of aggravated vehicular assault, operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and tampering with evidence.
He is charged in a July 2 crash on I-70 that killed Matthew Eskeli IV of Falconer, New York.
Eskeli was driving a Ford Focus eastbound through Clark County around 2:33 a.m. when he was hit by a BMW allegedly driven by Terrell, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

“The BMW struck the left side of the Ford Focus, causing the Ford Focus to travel off the right side of the roadway,” an OSP press release says. “The Ford Focus struck an exit sign, light pole, and rolled over before coming to final rest on its left side. The BMW continued eastbound for a short distance before it became disabled along the right berm.”
“The driver was found to be intoxicated,” said OSP Springfield Post Commander Lt. Brian Aller. “So he was transported to Clark County Jail.”
Terrell was indicted by a Clark County Grand Jury. He was not listed as an inmate in the Clark County Jail on Thursday.
Springfield man accused of exposing himself to neighbor
Clinton Renz, 48, was charged with public indecency. He pleaded not guilty and his bond was set at $500.
Springfield police began their investigation last Friday when they were called to a home on West Jefferson Street.
“(The caller) advised that the incident began when he looked out the front window of his residence and saw Mr. Renze talking to (his son),” the affidavit says. “(The caller) advised that he had asked Mr. Renz not to talk to his son before because Mr. Renz is known to act strangely and has had the police at his residence on multiple occasions.”

The man said Renz was wearing a bath towel and was standing in the middle of the road, the affidavit says. The men began to argue and then Renz retreated back to his property and dared the man to come onto his property, the affidavit says.
“Finally, after the argument continued for a short time, Mr. Renz untied his bath towel and let it drop to the ground,” the affidavit says. “(The man) advised that Mr. Renz was wearing nothing under his towel and fully exposed his genitalia to himself and his son.”
He was taken into custody a short time after police investigated the case. He was not listed as an inmate in the Clark County Jail on Thursday.
Springfield man accused of fracturing woman’s nose
Michael Bennett, 30, was charged with felonious assault and failure to comply with order or signal of police officer. He pleaded not guilty and his bond was set at $13,500.
Springfield police began their investigation on May 9, 2018, when they were dispatched to Springfield Regional Medical Center for an assault.
The woman said she was attacked by Bennett, the affidavit says. She said it started with an argument that led to Bennett knocking his own mother to the floor.
“(The victim) stated she was helping (her) off the ground when she saw Michael Bennett approaching aggressively,” the affidavit says. “(The victim) stated she put her right arm out to stop Michael Bennett, however, he proceeded to ‘drop kick’ her on the inside of her right bicep and side causing injury.”

“As we took him into custody Mr. Bennett stated repeatedly that he just wanted to get to his grandma’s house to see her before he went to jail,” the affidavit says.
The victim said she and her boyfriend, who is related to Bennett, attempted to leave but were attacked by a group of unknown suspects once they were in the car, the affidavit says. Bennett then punched the victim, according to the affidavit.
“As we took him into custody Mr. Bennett stated repeatedly that he just wanted to get to his grandma’s house to see her before he went to jail,” the affidavit says.
He was not listed as an inmate in the Clark County Jail on Thursday.
