Callan, Elder, Williams lead in early votes for Springfield school board

Joan Elder, Chris Williams and Jamie Callan have taken an early lead in race for three open seats on Springfield City School District’s Board of Education, according to the Clark County Board of Elections.

The four candidates who were on the ballot included two incumbents, Jamie Callan and Chris Williams. The other two on the ballot were Joan Elder and Reid Tackett.

Elder is currently leading the race with 31%, followed by Callan at 25.02%, Williams has 24.81% of the early vote and Tackett has received 19.18%, according to the Clark County Board of Elections.
