All Springfield Tim Hortons remain open as 4 others in region shut down

Springfield residents can take a sigh of relief because all three Springfield Tim Hortons restaurants remain open.

Many Dayton-area breakfast goers were caught off-guard as they drove into an empty Tim Hortons’ parking lot to find out their local store was closed this week.

Tim Hortons locations that are closed include:

5976 Far Hills Ave. at Whipp Road in Washington Twp.

2312 Needmore Road along I-75 in Dayton

6793 Miller Lane in the Vandalia/Butler Twp. area

5798 N. Springboro Pike in Miami Twp.

“This closure is part of our normal course of business,” Tim Hortons officials said. “Tim Hortons remains committed to growth in all markets, including the U.S.”

The Canada-based baked goods and coffee company closed a Richmond, Ind. store as well, according to Richmond media outlets.

Employees at the Springfield Tim Hortons stores said they were not aware of plans to shut down their stores and had no additional information at this time.

Springfield Tim Hortons restaurants are located at 1525 N. Limestone St., 1521 W. North St., and 200 E. Main St.
