Coronavirus: Some Clark, Champaign schools announce graduation dates

With the stay-at-home order and school closure that’s been in effect for over a month, many people in the community are worried about senior graduation ceremonies.

Clark and Champaign schools will release details and plans as they are finalized, but several have announced their graduation dates on their social media and websites.

Greenon’s graduation date for May 22 is still reserved at Wittenberg University, and the district has a back-up date on July 10.

Tecumseh’s graduation date is scheduled for June 7 at the Nutter Center, with an alternative date on July 12.

Graham’s graduation date is set for Aug. 1 at 3 p.m., with a rain date scheduled for Aug. 2 at 3 p.m.

Clark-Shawnee’s graduation date has yet to be set, but will take place in June or July at Dave Long Memorial Stadium at the high school, according to the district’s website. The district will also schedule a rain date as well.
