RELATED: Clark County library to open new entrances, part of $2.6M upgrades
Another goal was to make the site more user friendly by providing a better search and filter feature and by adding more content. The library's website launched in early March and so far, Peck said, the response from patrons has been positive.
The Main Branch is also reaching the end of its major renovation project. The new entrance is done and crews are in the midst of painting the interior of the library.
The renovations are expected to finish by late summer or early fall, at which time there will be a grand re-opening of the library. The Clark County Public Library’s new website will have more information about the event as the date approaches.
The summer reading program also has recently begun at the library. The theme for the summer program is Build a Better World. New this year is the re-instated adult reading program, which will feature weekly drawings for gift cards and a grand drawing for a Kindle Fire.

The kids’ program will feature many different activities, including guests such as Ronald McDonald, presentations by the Glen Helen Raptor Center and events centered around science, technology, engineering and math. There’s also a teen program that includes drawings for two Kings Island Tickets and the grand prize of a tablet.
