Here is where you can get tested for COVID-19 in Clark County

Clark County has five locations where residents can get tested for COVID-19, according to the Clark County Combined Health District.

The CCCHD, in partnership with the City of Springfield, hosted three COVID-19 pop-up testing clinics last month. At the clincs, 2,278 people were tested.

With their free clinics completed, the CCCHD is now focused on “reassessing its testing procedures to ensure results will be given in a timely manner and are working with partners to provide additional testing clinics in the near,” a statement from the CCCHD said.

In the meantime, residents can be tested at:

1. MercyCrest located at 30 W. McCreight Ave. Suite 110 in Springfield. Use parking lot at Entrance C.

Who is eligible? Symptomatic individuals and individuals with doctor’s orders can be tested Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until noon. Testing for asymptomatic individuals is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.

2. Rocking Horse located at 651 S. Limestone St. in Springfield.

Who is eligible? Testing at Rocking Horse is available to everyone. No appointment, no symptoms or doctor’s order needed. Pre-registration is available at 937-324-1111. Insurance information is needed, but no one will be turned away if they do not have insurance.

Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. (Weather permitting)

3. New Carlisle Family Practice located at 432 N. Main St. in New Carlisle.

Who is eligible? Testing at New Carlisle Family Practice is available for symptomatic individuals. A physician will evaluate each individual for testing eligibility.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday 8 a.m. until noon.

4. New Carlisle Community Health Center located at 106 N. Main St. in New Carlisle.

Who is eligible? Individuals who want a test must first schedule a Telehealth visit with the health center. There is no out of pocket cost to the patient.

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:15 a.m until 4 p.m. by appointment only

5. Home Town Urgent Care Locations at 38 S. Burnett Rd. and 1301 W. First St. in Springfield.

Who is eligible? Testing at Home Town Urgent Care is available for symptomatic individuals. A physician will evaluate each individual for testing eligibility.

Hours: South Burnett Monday through Friday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. West First Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
