Here are the learning plans for Clark, Champaign districts

Schools shift to full-time, in-person classes

School districts in Clark and Champaign counties have continued to adjust their learning plans throughout the coronavirus pandemic to provide the safest and healthiest way possible for students to attend school.

All schools have offered either in-person or virtual learning, but some have used hybrid/blended or online learning based off COVID-19 cases in the counties.

All students in both counties that have selected the in-person option will return to school full-time, in-person starting March 1 in response to Gov. Mike DeWine’s efforts for schools to return by that date. Students that have chosen the virtual option will continue that was for the remainder of the school year.

Here is a list of schools and their planned learning models:

  • Clark-Shawnee: Students on in-person option are learning in-person four days a week, then full-time, in-person learning five days a week on March 1. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
  • Global Impact STEM Academy: Students are using hybrid/blended learning until transitioning to in-person five days a week on March 1.
  • Graham: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
  • Greenon: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
  • Mechanicsburg: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
  • Northeastern: Students on in-person option are learning in-person four days a week, then full-time, in-person learning five days a week on March 1. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
  • Northwestern: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
  • Southeastern: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
  • Springfield: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school. Students on virtual option will continue that way for the remainder of the school year.
  • Tecumseh: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school four days a week during the month of February before transitioning to full-time, in-person learning five days a week on March 1. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
  • Triad: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
  • Urbana: Students on in-person option are attending classes in-school. Students on the virtual option will continue that way.
