“We didn’t extinguish it. We let it burn,” the chief said. “We’re not going to utilize our resources for a demolition.”
There was no danger to anyone.
Holman said he knows the owner and had a “strongly worded conversation” with him.
“I’ve never had anything like this before,” the fire chief said.
The fire department plans to follow up with the county and the EPA.
