Springfield Twp. fire crews were dispatched to a structure fire at a home in the 2200 block Seminole Avenue in Springfield Twp. shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday.

According to officials, a resident exited the home after hearing the smoke detector go off. She then called 911.

No injuries were reported, and the fire was contained to the upstairs area of the home.

Seminole Avenue in the Sunnyland neighborhood is closed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
