Feeding America’s Chief Supply Chain Officer will speak at the Second Harvest Food Bank’s fourth annual Harvest Breakfast.

The event will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, at the Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts and Conference Center, 275 S. Limestone St.

This breakfast, which happens in September during Hunger Action Month, brings together people who are committed to addressing food insecurity.

“We chose this year’s theme, ‘The Power of Community,’ because it truly reflects the heart of our mission,” said Jennifer Brunner, SHFB Development Director. “Every day, we witness the incredible impact that our volunteers, donors, and community partners have in supporting those in need. This breakfast is our way of celebrating and acknowledging the collective strength that drives us forward and makes our work possible.”

Attendees will hear a keynote presentation from Erika Thiem, Feeding America’s Chief Supply Chain Officer, and engage in a panel discussion featuring food pantry operators from across the three counties SHFB serves. The SHFB also partnered with Bonfire to provide branded gear in support of the event.

“This year, we’re excited to invite everyone to show their community support and spirit by purchasing exclusive Harvest Breakfast gear through Bonfire,” said Allie Godfrey, SHFB Marketing & Events Specialist.

Anyone interested in purchasing gear can do so by Sept. 18 at https://qrco.de/bfLBnF.

Tickets are free but require advanced registration at https://qrco.de/bfDpJK.
