Montoya offers door-to-door shuttle service over a five-mile radius in West Linn for $30 per day, The Oregonian reported. He transports client pups in a 1998 Ford Econoline van, which he painted to look like a school bus, to a 5-acre rural property he leases, and the dogs play and run until 2 p.m., when Montoya returns the dogs to their owners, the newspaper reported.
On a typical morning, starting at 7 a.m., Montoya picks up 20 dogs, KOIN reported.
"I've never had an issue with a pitbull. I've never had an issue with a German shepherd or a Rottweiler," Montoya told the Oregonian. "But, let me tell you, I've had an issue with a Chihuahua."
Montoya said he came up with the idea for the Doggie School bus because he loves dogs.
"I'm looking always for the best for them," he told KOIN.
