Neighbors called police to Kettering apartment of woman stabbed, stashed in dumpster
When crews arrived, they spoke with the victim who said she was at the Sunoco Gas Station, 2118 E. Main St., around 11 p.m. when she was assaulted.
“(The victim) was walking into the gas station when she was attacked from behind,” the report says. “She stated she was hit in the back of the head.”
According to the report, the victim said the suspect is her ex-boyfriend, but he didn’t say anything before the attack.

“(The suspect) got out of a red Mustang and ran up and hit her two times from behind with some kind of handgun. She stated that he then grabbed her purse and took it away from her. She stated that she had the purse wrapped around her wrist. He managed to pull the purse away from her by breaking the strap,” the report says. “The purse, gun and a cell phone were thrown onto the ground. (The suspect) grabbed the gun, her cell phone and ran to the mustang and jumped in the passenger side and they sped away.”
The victim sustained injuries to the back of her head and was taken to the hospital for treatment, the report says.
