Turner said detectives are acting on several leads in the homicide but do not have a suspect yet.

Springfield Officers on the scene Sunday interviewed a passerby that found Lally, according to a police report.

“(Witness) advised that she came out of a house in the area and observed the female laying on the sidewalk,” the report said. “When she got closer to the female, she could tell that the female was unresponsive and contacted police.”

Turner said anyone with information on Lally’s death is encouraged to call the division’s non-emergency number at 937-324-7680.

Lally is the first homicide of 2020 in Clark County.
