Three victims were stabbed in the attack — a mother, father and 17-year-old son.
The sheriff’s office identified the woman, 36-year-old Lee Moore, as the person who was killed in the attack.
The man, 56-year-old Paul Greear, was reportedly stabbed multiple times, including in the neck — but survived the stabbing and is out of the hospital.
The 17-year-old also sustained injuries from the attack and is recovering. Deputies say he and his father held down the suspect until help arrived.

2. Deputies say the attack was planned by two teen girls
Deputies say the entire attack was planned by two teenage girls — a 13-year-old, who was the daughter of Moore and Greear, and her 15-year-old friend.
Deputies said the 13-year-old’s parents told her she was not allowed to see the 15-year-old anymore, but the two were still secretly meeting.
The 13-year-old allegedly helped to plan the attack, while the 15-year-old allegedly broke into the house on Thursday morning and carried it out.
Clark County Sheriff Deb Burchett said the 15-year-old girl was crying while she was being interviewed by deputies, but the 13-year-old “never shed a tear.”

The two girls had pleas of denial entered for them during their initial appearances in court Thursday afternoon.
The girls were ordered to remain in custody in juvenile detention.
