When crews arrived, they spoke with the victim, “who stated his garage was broken into and has several items missing” including various tool items, tool sets and toolboxes.

“(The victim) stated he was last at his detached garage on Monday 1-20 and it was secured,” the report says. “(Victim) stated when he returned to his garage, he noticed his lock hinge was broken off and the door unsecured.”
While officers were on this call, two other officers were on South Isabella Street in reference to a separate theft of items that were in a garage.
A woman officers encountered at that address told them she recognized her stolen four-wheeler in the garage.
“(The officer) described other items in the garage, and it matched (the victim’s) listed stolen items,” the report says.
Officers were able to get a search warrant, and later returned to the garage where the victim identified his stolen items.

Officers spoke with a man who said he lived at the South Isabella Street residence, and that he bought all the tools and items for $700 from a third party, the report says. He was arrested for receiving stolen property.
According to the report, the items recovered from the garage include a Miller MIG Welder auto-set, a welding cart with regulator, a stainless steel roll around toolbox, a stainless steel top tool box, various sets of sockets, ratchets, extensions and mac wrenches, an orange floor jack, roller lifters, and a craftsman creeper.
