Teacher charged with manslaughter due in Clark County court this week

A teacher charged with vehicular manslaughter in a deadly hit-and-run is due in court this week.

Kristine Baggs faces charges in connection with an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident that killed Lawrence Mason, 45, of Medway, in September 2016.

Baggs is a Kenton Ridge teacher and was placed on paid leave when she was charged.

Her case is set for a pre-trial hearing on Tuesday at 1:45 p.m.

Baggs was charged in November after a highway patrol investigation. A jury trial date is set for June 6.
