Police began their investigation on Friday when they were called to the Speedway on Burnett Road for a possible robbery, according to an affidavit. Before they got there though, the affidavit says, police say they found Lytle walking the streets.
“She was holding an arm-full of food items that were not in any kind of grocery bag,” the affidavit says. “As I approached I was advised that she had threatened the store clerk with a knife.”

The affidavit says Lytle told police she was running low on funds and was having trouble getting money.
Police arrived at the store where a clerk told them an altercation took place while the clerk was trying to prevent her from leaving the store with the items, according to the affidavit.
