When police arrived, they spoke with one of the employees who said she was working the register when an unknown man walked into the store, up to the register with a plastic bag and said “put it in the bag,” the report said.
The employee told police she saw a black and silver handgun in the man’s left shorts pocket, but he didn’t used it during the robbery.

“(The employee) gave the male all the money in her register. The male then went to the other register where (another employee) was working. (The employee) stated the male told him to give him all the money in the register. (The employee) told him he could not get the register open and the male left out the front of the store,” the report said.
In the review of the video, officers saw a second man walk in with the robber but he stayed in the doorway and watched the front of the store, the report said.
According to the report, the suspect is described to be 5-foot-8, 180 pounds and was wearing a black hoodie, camo shorts, one glove and a surgical mask. The second man is described to be 240 pounds and was wearing black pants, black shirt and white shoes.

When officers spoke with a witness, she said she saw two heavy set men get into a white car behind the business after the robbery, the report said.
No other suspect or witness information was available.
Springfield police continue their investigation into this robbery.
