The victim told police that sometime overnight on Friday someone stole her gun, a holster and an amplifier from her vehicle.
“(The victim) advised that at some point overnight an unknown suspect gained entry into her likely unsecured vehicle and stole a 1500W amplifier from the rear of the vehicle,” the report says. “A Taurus 24/7 Pro Compact 9mm handgun and the magnetic holster it was inside of were taken from the front of the vehicle.”

Police later responded around 4:30 p.m. Saturday to the 2100 block of E. High Street in reference to multiple guns that have been stolen.
The victim told police the guns were stolen some time after he left for work between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., according to a police report.
“(The victim) returned to his apartment and noticed his door was unlocked and open. He entered his apartment and saw that it was destroyed,” the report says. “He stated the guns were now missing. Other miscellaneous items were also missing such as cleaners and light bulbs.”
The guns stolen include a Glock 17, a Glock 22, a Bushmaster AR-15 Rifle, a Springfield Compact pistol and a Desert Eagle.

Springfield police also responded around 2:30 p.m. Sunday to the 2500 block of Kenton Street in reference to another theft.
The victim told police that sometime over the weekend someone stole her gun, according to a police report. She said the last time she had the gun was on Thursday, but noticed it was missing on Sunday.
“(The victim) stated that someone stole her .22 caliber semi-auto handgun,” the report says. “She stated that there is no forced entry anywhere around her house.”
No arrests have been made and Springfield police continue their investigations into the stolen gun reports.
