When police arrived, the found a red 2017 Cadillac ATS parked on the street.
“The exterior of the vehicle appeared to be undamaged. The interior of the vehicle appeared to have been intentionally set on fire by an unknown suspect. The center console, front seats and the headliner were significantly damaged,” the report says.

According to the report, the vehicle was stolen out of Columbus. Springfield dispatch contacted the Columbus Police Department in reference to recovering the stolen vehicle, but Columbus police were not able to contact the owner.
No suspect or witness information was available.
Springfield police continue their investigation into this arson incident.
