“(A reporting person) stated that an unknown suspect(s) used some kind of pry tool to remove trim around the glass in the main east door and the glass,” the report says. “The suspect then climbed through the window in the glass and stole two Irwin hammers, 10 Craftsman screwdrivers, and six Craftsman pliers from a closet.”
The report says the items were valued at around $100 overall. The victim lists the victim as the Turner Foundation, as the organization owns the property.
Castle Knoll is a landmark in Clark County, having been built in the 1800s and was molded after a castle in Europe.
Springfield police took photos of the crime scene, the report says, but no charges have been filed in the case due to a lack of suspect information.
