Springfield Police Division officers were called to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol as they were pursuing a stolen car heading westbound on East High Street at about 3:50 a.m. Monday morning.
As the vehicle passed Penn Street, officers used stop sticks to slow it down. The vehicle turned into the parking lot of the St. Raphael’s Parish Center, 237 E. High St. As it was still moving, a highway patrol helicopter told officers all four occupants left the car.
