“(The witness) stated he was yelling for the neighbor, Robinson, to stop shooting his fireworks because they were landing on his house and hitting neighbors homes,” the affidavit said. “(The witness) took a video of Robinson in his driveway shooting off a firework that shot into the air and exploded. In the video, (the witness) is yelling for Robinson to stop.”
Other witness said they also saw Robinson shoot off the fireworks and were upset because of their children, the affidavit said.
Officers then spoke to Robinson and he said, “he was just celebrating the Fourth of July and that he didn’t have anymore,” the affidavit said.

Officers were also dispatched to the same block of Prospect Street around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday in reference to property damage, according to a police report.
When police arrived, they spoke with a witness who said she was reading a book in her backyard when she heard a loud explosion.
“(The witness) then stated that she walked over to her neighbor’s house and saw his garage door dented in. She believed the fireworks were coming from the neighbors address that caused this damage,” the report said.
It is unknown if these two incidents are related at this time, and police continue their investigation into reports of firework damage.
