A Springfield man has been accused of throwing a brick at a car, hitting the vehicle inches from his infant son’s head.

Ethan C. Cochran, 25, of 604½ E. Cassilly St., has been charged with child endangering and criminal damaging. He’s scheduled to appear in Clark County Municipal Court today.

Police alleged he threw a brick at a car driven by his ex-girlfriend shortly after noon April 14 on Cassilly Street.

The brick hit the car just under the window of the rear passenger seat, according to court records, leaving a dent in the door. Cochran’s baby was in a car seat in the rear passenger seat, police said, and the brick hit the car about six to eight inches from the boy’s head.
