“Dispatch advised that the male subject had a knife and had threatened an employee and left the area going west … on a silver bicycle,” the affidavit says.
Deputies were able to locate Jackson who told officers that he had found steaks in a shopping cart outside the store, according to the affidavit. He was found to have a knife in his possession, according to the affidavit.
The deputies then spoke with a Kroger employee, the affidavit says.
“(She) advised she observed the subject take two family packs of steaks,” the affidavit says. “(She) advised she recognized the subject who had previously been trespassed from the Kroger store.”
After getting her manager, the two confronted Jackson, the affidavit says, and that’s why Jackson allegedly threatened the store employees.

“(The manager) stated the subject turned around while walking away and stated ‘yeah, I got these steaks and I’m walking right out the front door, I’m not afraid to throw down and cut someone, you know what I mean,’” the affidavit says.
A next court date for Jackson had not been set, according to online records.
