His previous office was on Plum Street and a few items were taken then. Now he doesn’t keep valuable items in his office.
“Been through this before so I knew immediately what happened,” Ricketts said.
The attorney said when he walked into his North Limestone Street office on Monday morning, the deadbolt was on the floor and the office was in disarray.

Drawers were pulled opened and that’s when he noticed office equipment missing, including his assistant’s computer, a laptop and printer.
The attorney has insurance and will begin the process of fixing what was broken. He’s not too concerned with what was taken because it can be replaced.
He is thankful that the thieves didn’t take or disturb personal items.
The burglary has been reported to the Springfield Police and a suspect hasn’t been identified at this time.
