When police arrived, they spoke with a victim who said her house was found burglarized and several items were stolen.
The victim said she was last in the house on Wednesday and that it was in normal condition, but when she came back she found the front door open. It appeared to be kicked in because the door frame was on the floor, the report said.

According to the report, the stolen items include a 42-inch flat screen TV, Nintendo Wii, HP computer, an unknown number of video games and a bicycle.
Officers were also dispatched on Wednesday morning to an apartment in the 700 block of Villa Road in reference to a burglary, according to a Springfield police report.
When police arrived, they spoke with the victim, who said he left for work around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and returned home around 9:15 p.m. to find several items missing.
The victim told officers that the door was locked before the incident happened.
“He advised that it looked like the suspects used a credit card to make their entry through the front door,” the report said.
According to the report, the stolen items include two Xbox game systems, a MacBook Pro laptop, an Acer laptop, cash, an iPad and charging cables.

Lastly, officers were dispatched around 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday to the 600 block of North Limestone Street in regard to a burglary, according to a Springfield police report.
When police arrived, the victim said that sometime between 1:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., someone broke into her house and stole several items.
“When she had arrived home at 2:30 p.m., the door was wide open,” the report said. “The door had been kicked several times to get it open.”
According to the report, the items stolen include three flat screen TVs, a guitar, kitchen utensils, an air conditioning unit and a PlayStation 4.
No suspect or witness information was available for any of the incidents, and Springfield police continue their investigations.
