When police arrived, they spoke with the victim who said someone broke into his house around 2 p.m. and stole over $1,900 worth of items.
“He advised that they slipped through a window covering and exited out the back door,” the report says. “He advised that the individuals stole a 42-inch television, a PlayStation 3, 35 PlayStation 3 games, one DVD player, 60 DVDs, four PlayStation 3 remotes, two Bluetooth speakers and miscellaneous hygiene items.”

Police were able to talk to two people who were witnesses to the burglary.
The first witness told officers that around 2 p.m., “he saw a male and a female walking eastbound through an alley with multiple items. He advised it appeared abnormal and continued to watch. He advised that the individuals were walking from the area,” the report says.
A second witness told officers, “he also saw a male and female walking down an alley past his residence. He advised that the female was carrying two duffel bags full of items and the male was carrying a television that was covered in a sheet,” the report says.
According to the report, the first suspect is described as a woman who is 5-feet and 140 pounds with black hair. She was wearing blue jeans and an unknown shirt. The second suspect is described as a man in his 30s who is 5-feet-8 and 150 pounds with black hair. He was wearing black shorts with an unknown shirt.
No other witness or suspect information was available.
Springfield police continue their investigation into this burglary.
