According to an arrest warrant, Allen allegedly entered the Mug-N-Jug, 1213 Mitchell Blvd., on March 21, looked around, left and went to a gray Nissan Frontier truck parked outside.

A man, later identified as Brian Trainer, then exited the truck, allegedly went inside with a knife and took a purse from a patron inside, according to court documents. Springfield police have issued an arrest warrant for Trainer. He hadn’t been arrested as of Thursday afternoon.
Investigators believe they, along with another man, might be connected to additional robberies, said Detective Daniel Dewine with the Springfield Police Division.
“There’s other robberies here in town that we haven’t yet got them identified, but through the vehicle, people have seen them get into was a silver Nissan pick-up truck,” Dewine said.

Certified Oil, in the 2500 block of South Limestone, was robbed on Monday, March 27. A store employee was held at gunpoint, according to a police report.
The employee said a “gray or silver pick-up pulled up in front of the store and that a male with a rifle got out of the passenger side,” according to a police report.
She also said the man had a black mask that covered part of his face on, demanded money and then left the store.
