1 injured, suspect in custody in Springfield stabbing

One person is in custody after a person was stabbed on Erie Avenue in Springfield Thursday morning.

The stabbing was reported in the 2200 block of Erie Avenue at 11:22 a.m., said Springfield Police Lt. Jeff Williams.

The condition of the victim was not available at this time.

The stabbing is under investigation.
