“During the detail, officers interacted with over 650 drivers and removed three impaired drivers from Clark County roadways. Officers also issued citations for driving under suspension and possession of controlled substances. Troopers are planning more sobriety checkpoints and will have increased patrols specifically looking for impaired drivers throughout the year,” A release by the OSP says.
The OSP said if anyone plans to drink, they should make travel arrangements beforehand.
“Don’t let another life be lost for the senseless act of getting behind the wheel impaired,” the report says.
