“The unknown suspect then took a PlayStation Four, that had the virtual reality accessories, a .45 caliber Ruger, a .223 rifle, a safe that the two guns were inside of and assorted U.S. Currency,” the report says.
The witnesses said they had a possible suspect they thought might be capable of the burglary, but no arrests were made in the case.
The witnesses were able to show pictures of the weapons and other items that were stolen.
“(The witness, who had photos of the stolen guns, advised the .45 caliber Ruger had two magazines, with it,” the affidavit says. “He showed officers a picture of the gun, which was silver with a brown grip. The gun, a Ruger SR1911, had the serial number displayed as well as a stamped.”
The report values the gun at around $750.
“(The witness) then showed officers the stolen Bushmaster rifle, the rifle had a Barsak scope attached to it as well as tri-pod, quad rails and there were two magazines,” the report says.
The rifle was reportedly valued at $1,000.
The witnesses said they still had the keys to the safe.
The report estimates that about $800 in electronic valuables were taken from the home as well.
