“(The man) stated that he let his dogs out the back door of his residence,” the police report says. ” … An unknown black dog, with some gray spots, came from the east and started to attack his dogs.”
The man told police he began kicking the black dog in an attempt to protect his dogs and the dog began attacking him, according to the police report.

“The unknown black dog then jumped on (the man) knocking him to the ground,” the report says. “The black dog then bit him in the face.”
The dog then ran off, the police report says.
The report lists the man’s injuries as “serious visible”. It also says the victim was treated and released.
