Clark County Sheriff’s Office releases video in search for robbery suspect

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed a business Tuesday afternoon near Springfield.

The suspect stole tree trimming equipment worth more than $600 from Compton’s Power Equipment in Moorfield Twp., deputies said.

“On (Tuesday) at (1:26 p.m.) an unknown black male 5’10, 210 pounds with long curly dreads entered Compton’s Equipment located at 5375 Urbana Road and stole tree trimming equipment in the amount of $624,” a statement from the sheriff’s office said.

The suspect then fled the store and was chased by employees, according to the sheriff’s office. The suspect was last seen driving a blue Chevrolet Monte Carlo with Ohio license plates HDE 2609.
