Steven Masters, 26, was arrested after fleeing Springfield police and crashing into a parked van. He had a statewide warrant for his arrest.
Officers attempted to pull Masters over around 7 p.m. Thursday in the area of Sheridan Avenue, after which he fled, at one point reaching speeds of 90 mph, according to a Springfield police lieutenant.

The driver eventually lost control, steering off the road and into an unoccupied van at the parking lot of Pawn Stars, located at 2819 E. Main St.

Masters and one of two passengers in the vehicle were taken into custody. No one needed to be taken to the hospital for treatment.
Masters was released from custody two weeks ago, on Feb. 28, following a February 2017 conviction in Clark County for violating a protection order and failure to comply with a police order, according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction.
Springfield man indicted for manufacturing drugs in his apartment
Logan Lebaroff, 29, was indicted in Clark County Common Please Court on a count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs.
Clark County probation officers were performing a house check on Jan. 4 when they found a suspected narcotics lab in a Springfield apartment, according to the sheriff’s office.
Narcotics detectives found several bottles of an unknown liquid, a white powder, and chemicals commonly used to make drugs in the apartment, according to the sheriff’s office.

Lebaroff was taken into custody when he returned to the apartment. He told investigators he was making DMT, a hallucinogen, according to the sheriff’s office.
Ohio BCI agents removed the materials allegedly being used to make DMT from Lebaroff’s apartment and deemed the area safe.
Springfield couple accused of striking man, pushing him out moving car
Jasean Fleming, 19, and Nakisha Martin, 18 were charged with abduction in Clark County Municipal Court for allegedly tricking a man into a car, pointing a gun at the man’s head, and pushing him out of a moving vehicle. Fleming is also charged with felonious assault while Martin is charged with complicity to felonious assault.

A $5,000 bond was set for Martin. Fleming appeared in court on Wednesday and a $15,000 bond was set in his case.
Springfield police were called to a home on Harrison Street, where they found a man bleeding from his elbow with road rash marks on his back. The man told police he planned to meet with Fleming and Martin on Sherman Avenue.
“(The man) stated that he was going to meet up with Ms. Martin to hang out,” an affidavit says. “(The man) stated that Ms. Martin came to (his) house to pick him up and take him back to Sherman Avenue to hang out at Ms. Martin’s home.”

The man told police that while the car was traveling, Fleming was hiding in the backseat, then he appeared behind the man and started choking him.
Fleming reportedly accused the man of trying to sleep with his girlfriend, pointed a handgun at his head, and hit him twice in the head with the gun, according to the affidavit.
“….Mr. Fleming then pushed him out of the vehicle as it was traveling approximately 25 to 30 miles per hour,” the affidavit says.
Officers located Fleming and Martin on Water Street and Mount Vernon, where they were pulled over and arrested, according to the affidavit.
Springfield man jumped on, robbed by prostitute
A Springfield man told police he was walking home from a gas station when a woman he said was a prostitute jumped on his back and robbed him.
The woman, identified by the man as Lisa, asked him for money before he entered a Sunoco gas station on Selma Road, according to a police report.

The man told her no and she followed him into the gas station and asked him to buy her cigarettes and a drink.
He agreed but told her that would be all he would help her with, the report says.
The man left the gas station and was walking on Tibbetts Avenue when he said the woman jumped on his back, causing him to fall to the ground, according to the report.
The woman went through the man’s pockets and took $40 in cash and an electronic tablet, the report says.
Officers checked the area but did not find the woman. A suspect has not been identified in this case.
$2,400 worth of valuables allegedly stolen from Springfield home
Springfield police are investigating an alleged burglary at a home on the 100 block of West Grand Avenue. A $2,400 television was stolen from the home, including two speakers and a laptop of unknown values.
The victim reported on Saturday, March 9, that her house was “broken into in an unknown manner,” a police report says.

The burglary could have taken place between Feb. 6 and March 9, according to the report. The report does not indicate why the burglary was not reported until Saturday.
No arrests or charges have been filed in this case.
