Air conditioners, pipes stolen from Springfield church, restaurant

Air conditioning units and copper pipe were reported stolen from both a church and a restaurant this week, according to police reports.

Two free-standing 2-ton air conditioning units and copper pipe were reported stolen from the First Church of the Nazerene, 901 E. Home Road, between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 4 p.m. Monday.

An air conditioning unit was also reportedly stolen from Hickory Inn, 652 North Limestone St., between 11 a.m. Monday and about 9:20 a.m. Tuesday morning.

No suspect information was available for either incident report, police said.
