More than $15,000 in tools and a truck were reported stolen from a Springfield business this weekend.

Multiple welders, a saw and a truck were stolen from TS Steel, 212 Monroe St., between 11 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Monday morning, according to a police report.

The business owner told police it appears the suspect pried open an overhead door and entered the business. The suspect also broke the lock off of a tool shed before removing multiple tools. After breaking other locks, the suspect allegedly loaded up a truck belonging to the business and drove it out of the building.

A print check was performed by police but was unsuccessful, the report said.
