Wells was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office and the Champaign County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the crash.
Also assisting at the scene was the Johnson St. Paris Fire District.

A Springfield man was identified Monday as the driver killed Sunday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Champaign County.
Joseph A. Wells, 26, was headed south around 7:10 a.m. in the 2200 block of state Route 560 just north of Old Troy Pike in Mad River Twp. when the 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck he was driving went off right side of the roadway, traveled back onto the roadway before Wells lost control and went off the west side of the road, where it struck a ditch and rolled before coming to rest, according to the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.
