UPDATE @2:37 a.m. (July 1):

The crash occurred about 6 p.m. Sunday when a Toyota Corolla, driven by Jennifer Powell, 56, of Springfield, struck a 1981 Chevrolet Corvette at the intersection of Limestone Street and Ridge Avenue, according to a press release from the Springfield post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Powell’s vehicle, which was westbound on Ridge Avenue, struck the right side of the Corvette, which was going north on Limestone Street, the release said. The Corvette, driven by Everett Ferryman, 46, of Marysville, spun out of control and subsequently went off the right side of the road, striking a speed limit sign and a cement barrier.

Harsh was listed in fair condition early Monday morning, but a Miami Valley Hospital spokeswoman said they don’t have Ferryman as a patient. We are checking with the Highway Patrol to determine is condition and whereabouts.
