Tear gas canisters found in Clark County home’s garage prompt bomb squad response

Tear gas canisters were found in the garage of a Clark County home’s garage, according to a bomb squad official.

The canisters will explode if its is pulled, but otherwise will not detonate.

The homeowner recently died, and family members cleaning up the home in Green Twp. found the tear gas canisters, according to officials.

The bomb squad removed the canisters around 1 p.m. and were clearing the scene.

FIRST REPORT

The bomb squad has been requested after suspected live grenades were found in Clark County.

Officers are on scene in the 2100 block of West Jackson Road.

We have crews en route and we will continue to update as we learn more.
