Bob Young, co-owner of Young’s Jersey Dairy, has died

Charles R. “Bob” Young, one of three brothers who own Young’s Jersey Dairy near Yellow Springs, has died.

The 84-year-old man had served as a captain for the Husted Fire Department and was a 1950 graduate of Enon High School. He was loved by many and enjoyed lifelong relationships with his employees and customers, his obituary reads.

Bob’s son Dan Young provided a brief statement today.

“We will definitely miss him. What we do today has a lot to do with what my Dad and his brothers did 40, 50 years ago,” Dan Young said.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Funeral Home, 322 Xenia Ave, Yellow Springs. Graveside services will follow at Glen Forest Cemetery.
