Artist Christina Pereyma taught a Ukrainian Pysanky Workshop Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House in Springfield. The ancient form of folk art that originated in Ukraine in pre-Christian times involves melting wax and applying it an egg in intricate patterns then dying the eggs in stages to get the desired design. All the proceeds from the registration fee for the workshop will go toward the Ukraine Heritage Response Fund. BILL LACKEY/STAFF
