Flooding along the Great Miami River in Troy has covered much of Treasure Island in water. The monarch butterfly habitat in the park is completely submerged, and part of the parking lot is also submerged. A flood warning was issued Saturday morning for the Great Miami River around Troy, stretching from north near Upper Valley Medical Center to south near Charleston Falls Preserve near Tipp City. The river is expected to crest at about 14.3 feet early Monday morning. As of 7 p.m., a post from Miami County Commissioners' Facebook page listed over 20 road closures in Miami County. County Road 25A between Lytle Raod and Eldean Road North of Troy is expected to be covered by floodwater from the Great Miami River in the early morning hours on Sunday. BRYANT BILLING/STAFF
