How to use your coupons at Meijer

To help each of you better understand some of rules and regulations at major grocery stores and pharmacies, we continue our weekly breakdown of coupon policies by store.

Today, we take a closer look at Meijer’s policies.

General Meijer policy breakdown

Meijer accepts both manufacturer and Meijer store coupons. You can stack coupons (use a store coupons and a manufacturer coupon on one item), unless specifically prohibited.

Meijer reserves the right to limit how much of an item you can purchase.

If the value of the coupon is more than the price of an item, the value of the coupon will be applied up to the price, but you will not make money on any item So, if you have a coupon that for $1.50 of milk and milk is on sale for $1, you will get the milk for free, but the store will not give you a 50 cent credit.

Coupons will only be accepted for items that are sold in the store.

All coupons must be used while you are checking out. You are not allowed to apply coupons to previous purchases.

For Internet or printable coupons

All valid Internet coupons are accepted.

Doubling coupons

Meijer will double the first two “like” coupons. So, if you have five identical coupons good for $0.50 off an item, the first two will double to $1. The other three can be used, but they will only be for the face value of the coupon ($0.50).

Meijer will double coupons up to $1. So, for a $0.35 coupon you will get $0.70. For a $0.50 coupon you will get $1. For a $0.75 coupon you will get $1 off.

Expired coupons

Meijer does not accept expired coupons.
